Pastor Jim Bennett leads CBC in North Haven. He was born and raised in Connecticut and is a graduate of The King's College, 1994,(now in Empire State Building) where he earned a B.A. in Christian Education. He is licensed in the Evangelical Free Church of America, to which CBC belongs. Join us as we celebrate more than 50 years in North Haven learning to be a church that loves to love God and serve the community.
Pastor Jim enjoys running, playing/spending time with his family, reading, hiking Sleeping Giant and all the high peaks of the Adirondacks, working in the yard and helping others.  His many experiences include trips overseas, working a lot with young people, coaching Boys XC and Track at Cheshire High School. Favorite movies:  Lord of the Rings trilogy. On TV:  Sports mostly  Going out:   McDonalds, really, Friendly's and TGI Fridays, and On The Border (amazing salsa!).	Favorite chapter of the Bible: Romans 12 It's so full of good things for us to know!   TOUGHEST THING TO ENDURE: Hmmmm... Kidney stones, or maybe finishing a 5 mile race while running the last mile with a broken leg in 1990.
